Automated Board Reporting
The problem: Producing reporting documents in the company style for board sign-off had become a burden on capital modelling resources. A lot of the reporting involved manually updating previous reports with numbers for the latest model and business forecast.
The solution: By scripting the reporting process to run automatically over a pre-built validation suite, we were able to create a tool that can now be used to create board reports for each model cycle.
The result: Templates allow new documents to be created with ease, and the team has more scope to work on value-add activities that require more technical know-how.
